Dress Code

UNIFORMS

Standardized dress code requirements are as follows:

  • White or Red solid collared polos, blouses, or dresses
  • Khaki, navy blue, or black pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts
  • Open-toed shoes, flip-flops, sandals, or shoes with a heel are not

allowed for safety reasons. Shoes with wheels are not allowed. Tennis

shoes must be worn during physical education class and are preferred

    during daily recess as well.

  • Stockings/tights/socks can be any design (unicorns and rainbows are permitted!)

SPIRIT WEAR

Every Friday is Spirit Day! Students are encouraged to show their school pride by wearing their Geneva Heights shirts ( (shirts sold by the PTA, past school event shirts, or Field Day shirts), feeder pattern shirts, or college shirt with uniform bottoms. The PTA sells spirit gear periodically throughout the year. Sales will be communicated on our home page, newsletters and via the Facebook Geneva Heights Insider page.

DOLLAR DRESS DAY

Dollar Dress Day is on the last Friday of each month and is a fun day for students to show off their individual styles. Kids can wear appropriate, non-uniform, non-spirit wear clothing (no costumes) to school. There will be PTA volunteers at the school entrances in the morning collecting $1 from those who choose to participate. Did you know that every dollar collected for Dollar Dress Down Day gets added into the PTA fund and goes toward supporting the on-going school events and enrichment efforts throughout the year? It is a win-win!

DONATIONS OF UNIFORMS

If you have gently used or new uniforms you are willing to donate, our Peace Pantry will distribute to students in need. Please reach out to the GH Peace Pantry to arrange a donation. And for those hoping to buy gently used uniforms: At least once a year, the PTA & Peace Pantry sell gently used uniforms at the school.
